Business Hours:

Office hours are Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.

We welcome and encourage you to call the office if you have a problem or concern. We will be happy to assist you with scheduling an appointment or refilling prescriptions during business hours. You can leave a message for Dr. DeCosimo and she or her assistant will return your call as promptly as possible. Please limit non-emergency calls to regular office care hours when your records are readily available.

Please give us at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or change an appointment, this will allow us to provide better service to you and our other patients. Please be informed that a $50.00 no show fee will be billed if you fail to cancel your appointment without 24 hours notice.  Similarly, kindly give us a minimum of 48 hours notice before your medication runs out and limit calls for refills during regular office hours so that we will have your chart available to make sure that a refill is the best course of treatment. Please have your pharmacy number available when requesting prescriptions to be called in or refilled.

If you are calling the office to obtain laboratory report results, please be patient and hold until the receptionist can check to see that your results are in.  Results of laboratory tests, ultrasound and radiology studies should arrive in our office within 7-10 business days after they are performed.  We will always notify you as soon as possible of any test results that are abnormal and/or indicate that an early follow up is needed. Most test results will require a consultation follow-up appointment with the doctor. This allows her to provide you with the best possible understanding of the significance of the test to your present condition and future treatment.

Coverage is available for emergencies and patients in labor, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Before any patient decided to go to the Hospital Emergency Room, we ask that you call and notify the doctor. If you are unable to reach the doctor and you have an emergency, go to the nearest Hospital Emergency Room.

For routine appointments, it is best to call at least 2-3 weeks in advance to assure a time most convenient for you.

Please be sure to bring your current insurance care, particularly if your insurance has changed or your are a new patient.
